Mrs. Watson's Counseling Classroom
I am available to meet with students individually during a scheduled time or during a crisis.
If you have concerns for your student or want to schedule some individual counseling,
just let know and we can schedule a time during their school day to meet!
The 20-21 school year brought many challenges to our students both academically and emotionally. Mindfulness activities can help students feel empowered to learn and try new things. Big Life Journal has created a list of activities to do with your students this summer to practice mindfulness.
Discovery Education has created a Social Emotional Learning center which includes virtual field trips, podcasts, mindfulness exercises, reading passages and more.

If your student has experienced death, divorce, incarceration, deployment, deportation and/or foster care and adoptive care, they are eligible to receive services from Calm Waters Center for Children and Families. This organization provides free support groups for our students that have experienced grief. Calm Waters is providing two 6-week virtual support groups this summer for any students that are interested. If you would like for your student to participate, click the link below to register!
